About me
Emily Sumrall is a 5th grade ELA teacher and Digital Instructional Coach in the Biloxi Public School District, where she supports educators in integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning. With 21 years of experience spanning elementary, middle, high school, and college classrooms, she brings a wide-ranging perspective to literacy and digital instruction.Prior to joining Biloxi Schools, Emily served as a Digital Learning Coach for the Mississippi Department of Education, where she worked to advance effective technology integration statewide. She is a National Board Certified educator with a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.Emily is passionate about empowering both teachers and students through innovative uses of technology, while continuing to foster strong reading and writing skills.
