Dr. Brittany Myburgh is an Assistant Professor of Art History at Jackson State University, originally from Aotearoa/New Zealand. She is known for her research at the intersection of art and technology, focusing on subjects such as electric light, new media, and generative artificial intelligence (AI). Dr. Myburgh is also a co-founder of the Mississippi AI Collaborative, an initiative dedicated to reducing digital inequities in AI education across the state, particularly among underrepresented communities.
