Dr. Lorilyn Thompson is the Director of Distance Learning and Instructional Design and Technology at Blue Mountain Christian University. She holds an educational doctorate in Instructional Technology and Design and brings over 30 years of experience in education, including extensive work in special education and U.S. history.Dr. Thompson specializes in online course design, faculty development, accessibility, and emerging technologies in education. She leads institutional initiatives focused on quality course design, WCAG 2.1 accessibility, and meaningful integration of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning. She is a published author and instructional leader dedicated to creating inclusive, engaging, and innovative learning experiences for all students.
