Reginald Matthews is an Information Technology leader, educator, and researcher specializing in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and instructional technology. He currently serves as Director of Information Technology and Instructional Designer at Southwest Mississippi Community College, where he leads enterprise IT strategy, security, and AI-enabled innovation across higher education environments. Reginald is also an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at the University of Southern Mississippi, teaching secure software development, risk management, and cybersecurity. With over 22 years of experience, he bridges research and practice to help organizations adopt AI responsibly and effectively. His work includes peer-reviewed publications on AI in education and frequent presentations at national and regional conferences focused on practical, ethical, and scalable AI integration.
