About me
Tara Poolson is a Technology Integration Specialist for the Pearl River County School District and works with businesses and schools to utilize GSuite tools more effectively.Tara draws on 20+ years of educational experience to inspire and motivate participants to transform their classrooms and offices to the next level using technology tools. Her passion for innovation moves participants from “that’s the way we’ve always done it” to “what if we could?” Tara has led conferences and workshops across the United States on a wide variety of educational technology and business related topics. She has been a featured presenter at workshops throughout Mississippi, including MECA, ACTE, MASBO and MAGC. Tara is a certified Google for Education Trainer and a nominee for the #SheDidThat award through Western Governors University. She has also been awarded a Top Tech in Mississippi recognition. Tara holds a B.S. Degree in Education from William Carey University and a M.S. Degree in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University. She is a state board member of both Delta Kappa Gamma and MECA, as well as the Director of Women's Ministries for the Pearl River Baptist Association.
